Ms. Annie (director, lead teacher Butterfly Room)
“Hello, my name is Annie Espinoza and I have been here since 2018 as a director, and also as a teacher in the Butterfly Room. I was born and raised on the southside of Milwaukee. My ethnic background is Mexican, and I am bilingual in Spanish and English. I received my teaching degree from UW-Milwaukee. I have been devoted to teaching kindergarten in the Milwaukee Public Schools. I have also worked intermittently for more than 20 years as a teacher of religious education at St. Anthony’s Parish.
My family is very important to me, and they are so supportive of what I do. I have three wonderful children: Lucas, René, and Paul. Music, dancing, and art are a few things I really enjoy. My goal is to be able to get to know your child personally, and be able to guide and nurture them as best I can.”

Ms. Sarah (assistant teacher Butterfly Room)
“Hi! My name is Sarah Juchemich and I am the assistant teacher in the Butterfly Room. I live in Bay View with my husband (John), my daughter (Lux), and my son (Xavi). I am an avid reader and just love curling up with a good book. I’m a huge movie nerd and love watching and talking about film. I collect my favorite movies on VHS cassette tape. I love to draw, bake, attend shows, dance, and hang out with my family. I have also been known to hog the karaoke mic from time to time. I am so excited to be at Loving Start! I look forward to getting to know your family!”

Ms. Lisa (lead teacher Panda Room)
"My name is Lisa Bransdorf. Currently, my educational background is a bachelors in History and Theatre/Creative Arts from Alverno College. I strongly believe in continuing education, as a person working in education there is always more to learn. My experience in the field started with teaching young children about the joys of art through Theatre. Everyone has a story to tell and everyone’s story deserves to be told! Expressing yourself through art opens up a world of possibilities.
In 2007 I had the amazing opportunity to work at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. I taught children the importance of science and innovation at EPCOTs Innoventions. It was one of the best times in my life and that is where I met my now husband, Philip. In 2015 we welcomed our son, Charles. And in 2019 our daughter Vivian was born.
Hobbies that I enjoy other than theatre and going to Disney whenever we can, is spending time with my family and friends. We like taking trips and getting to know about the local people and their culture. I am also a big advocate for food allergies and educating people about them. My son has peanut and dairy allergies.
I am looking forward to working closely with you and your family."

Ms. Mary (assistant teacher Butterfly Room)
“I’m Mary Guardalabene and I’m thrilled to be an Assistant Teacher at Loving Start Preschool! I live here in Bay View with my husband Mark, a teacher who retired from Rufus King High School. We have two adult sons, Michael and Andreas, who also live in Bay View. We are thrilled to have Ilana, Michael’s wife, join our family. My happiest moments are when we are all together.
I am retired from being an Ophthalmic Technician for over 40 years. This fascinating career allowed me to grow and learn something new every day. I got to experience the joy of working with all kinds of people! I’ve spent the last few years at Children’s Wisconsin, and it was a joy and a privilege to work with the children and their families.
I love children and I love teaching, so working at Loving Start is a great place for me! I also love to bike, hike, travel and cook. In fact, I volunteer here at Bay View United Methodist Church as a cook for our Bread and Jam Meal Program.
Thank you again for allowing me to be part of your children’s experience here at LSP!”
